Ailsa

God has always provided me with ways to serve Him, and I know that my life has a purpose and a meaning.

The love of God has been the central thread running through my life for over 45 years.  I’ve always believed in God, but I was made aware that just belief was not enough and that a commitment to Him, leading to a life-long relationship with Him was not only possible, but was the way to live as God intended.  Since the moment I gave my life to God, I have known His peace and presence with me through all the ups and downs of life and continue to do so.

He led me to my husband Dave, and we have known, and still know, God’s presence each day.  God’s leading and guiding has seen us through times of unemployment, where we saw practical provision in very real ways, as well as learning more of an excitement to see how God would work things out, which has stood us in good stead for other times of difficulty.  We have been led through years of childlessness to the eventual blessing of two amazing children who have been, and still are, a joy to us.  Our challenges now are probably more health-based, but we know that God will show us the way through these too.

God has always provided me with ways to serve Him, and I know that my life has a purpose and a meaning.  As each life stage passes, ways and opportunities to serve have changed, but there is always something – even whilst shielding during the pandemic!

I know that God loves me and that He will continue to be with me for the rest of my life.  The peace and assurance that this brings, with the promise of heaven after this world, are things that only belief in Jesus can bring.
